Judith (Merenda) Cadorette, age 19, was found in Andover near the ramp from Route 93 South to Route 133 West on July 6, 1973, Massachusetts State police said. She was last seen at a Holiday Inn in Tewksbury four days earlier.

The road near where she was found runs directly through Tewksbury.

Despite the time, police haven't given up hope. Investigators renewed their call for tips and information on Thursday, July 6, on the grim anniversary.

Cadorette wore glasses and had long dark hair. She often visited the 495 drive-in movie theatre, Holiday Inn lounge, and Pewter Pot restaurant in Tewksbury, police said.

Officers ask anyone with information on her death or who has tips about what happened during those four days to contact Andover Police Sergeant Mark Higgenbottom at 978-623-3500, Tewksbury Police Detective Sergeant Michael Donovan at 978-851-7373, Massachusetts State Police Lieutenant Peter Sherber at 978-766-5823, or the Essex District Attorney’s Office at 978-745-6610.
